I think there was a permission issue that's why i was not able to "Adaptive Form Template" now. Do we need to run the migration utility https://helpx.adobe.com/gr_en/experience-manager/6-4/forms/using/migration-utility.html#RunningMigrationUtility to migrate the forms from AEM 6.3 to 6.4?

Thanks for the response @abhishek4743 . While we look into the possibility of installing compatibility package to get older templates back, I am not seeing the option of selecting "Adaptive Form Template" in the create template wizard by navigating to "Adobe Experience Manager" -> "Tools" -> "Templates". I see it in my local but not in any other envs maintained by client. Do i need to check anything in-specific?

AEM Forms Blank template missing after upgrade from AEM 6.3 to AEM 6.4.6

Hi,Previously in AEM 6.3, there used to be forms blank template which can be selected to create a form ( cq:template=/libs/fd/af/templates/blankTemplate2). Now i dont see this template anymore after upgrading to AEM 6.4.6.0. In the upgraded version, we have to a first create a template from create template wizard and use it for form creation (cq:template=/conf/aarp/settings/wcm/templates/) Wanted to confirm if this is the case. We have all the forms created based on previous experience and now t...

the logic is working in sites/siteadmin area so wondering why it wouldn't work inside the page, I am posting the logic here anyway @Overridepublic void preprocess(ReplicationAction action, ReplicationOptions options) throws ReplicationException {try { .... if(needReview) { startWorkflow(...) throw new ReplicationException("The page contains xyz component and it has not been reviewed"); }}catch () {}}

I am not sure if this is documented anywhere but i was looking into this file /libs/cq/gui/components/common/wcm/clientlibs/wcm/js/publish.js that has the necessary logic in fail/error condition. This is very similar change to quickpublish.js or managepublication.js that were being discussed in the other thread. I tried to overlay it but still no luck

Custom preprocessor exception message not shown in the page

Hi, We have written a custom preprocessor that gets invoked on page publish to identify if a particular component is present on the page and invoke a workflow for approval before page activation. This all works fine but the custom 'ReplicationException' is not showing up in the page. It shows up in the sites/siteadmin section when i click on "quick publish" button, but the exception is not showing up in the actual page when i click on "Publish Page". In the actual page, it only says "ERROR: Fail...

Does anybody know the reason for removing display of Publish Page and Unpublish Page in page information in aem 6.4.6.0. Read through the release notes AEM 6.4 Service Pack Release Notes, but there is nothing much there other than saying it was removedSorry if this question was asked earlier, is there any way to re-enable it back?thanks a lot,Prabu

Hi,How to remove the mobile nav bar and menu items from AEM forms in Mobile. We want an experience similar to desktop, we selected the option "Layout without panel tiles in the mobile header" under Adaptive Form Container -> Mobile Navigation which removed part of it but the nav bar and menu still remains. We are on aem 6.3.3

Hi,We faced an issue of custom built AEM form not rendering in the mobile after embedding into the page. The form itself was rendering fine but when embedded into the page, the form inside the page didn't render in mobile. Then i noticed this property 'useiframe = true|false' for aemform (see screenshot below) in crxde and set it to 'false'. So the iframe surrounding the is removed and then it started rendering in mobileBut I dont know how to set this property without going into crxde. There is...

I tried to integrate this but looks like the form doesn't pick up or submit the generated inputs that are not originally part of the form. It is picking up the values from lets say a text box field or any other element available in the form builder but when we include a custom component like captcha in our case, the generated input (for eg captcha response) is being ignored during the form submission.Any ideas on how to pickup the captcha response from the form?

thanks for the response mayank. Yes captcha callback function returns true/false based on user input. I am little lost on how to capture this input and tie it to the submit button?

Thanks Mayank. Let me try to add in the details here. we have a requirement to add the user registration into salesforce. The form to capture user registration has the usuals (firstname, lastname, email etc) which needs to be posted into salesforce. The form also displays a captcha (not google recaptcha but a 3rd party service to render captcha) that should be validated before the actual form submission. So three are 2 parts to this. (1) AEM forms integration with Salesforce (2) AEM forms integr...

Thanks for the response. Just a wild thought, haven't thought through this in detail yet. Is there a possibility to fetch the values entered in the form into another component. I am just thinking if I can separate captcha form submission and forms into 2 different components in a page. Alternatively if we use OOTB AEM forms component is it possible for that integration?

As a digital preference, out client has moved away from Google Recaptcha into a 3rd party captcha service. We have implementated as a separate captcha component and is working fine for few other usecases. However I am not sure how do we integrate into AEM forms?

Hi,Thanks for the response. The above example works and i have also tried with OSGI component. I believe it is working, just waiting for some creds for salesforce connectivity.We have also built a separate captcha component using 3rd party library. How do we integrate this into the submit action of the form? Meaning on click of Submit button the captcha should be validated before submission

Hi,We have a requirement to integrate AEM forms (v6.3) with salesforce. What I understand is there are 2 ways to do it 1. Create a Form data model using salesforce swagger file/URL (Adobe Experience Manager Help | Configuring DataSource with Salesforce in AEM Forms 6.3 and 6.4). The only problem with this approach is that there is swagger file/url is not available to us. 2. Call the Rest endpoints from the code editor. I am assuming this is an option. If so appreciate if there is any article/do...

Hi,I am trying to publish a folder with assets/files in it (for instance /content/dam/foo/bar/) in AEM. But with the default publish agent it is publishing just the folder to the publish instance not the files inside it. It sounds so weird, what configuration am i missing to recursively publish all the files/assets inside the folder?Thx, Prabu
