We are at 4.2.1 and use dita-ot. I also tried to generate to PDF and had the same problem. 

I've created an MD in AEM, but cannot edit it using the instructions in the User Guide referred to in your previous post.  Also, when I added it to my ditamap filled with dita files, the output would not generated to HTML.

Thanks for your reply. However, that is not the way our system seems to be configured. everyone - (the group) is able to see all notifications. Which permissions for a group do we change to ensure that only a group or the individual sees the notifications for them.

It seems our AEM is configured to send everyone inbox notifications regardless of whether they impact that user or group.
