I am trying to use a small looping video as a background for a dynamic banner.Works fine on Android, however, In the iOS App, forced fullscreen is still a problem.I know inline video is a new feature in iOS, but The HTML I am using works fine when viewed as a web page via mobile Safari on iPad or iPhone. However, the AEM dynamic banner generated from the same code still forces full screen.I am using tag with the playsinline property. Are there any other options here? Is there some setting I need...

I had a similar problem - At least on mine, the layout template is basically an approximation of the final product. The fonts on the layout preview display about 30% smaller than the app and the margins / paddings are nowhere close to the final app's display. I just kept using the live App to judge my adjustments - not worrying about the details on the layout template. After much adjusting, my layout preview looks terrible, but my live app looks just how I wanted. *shrugs*

Re: Youtube Embeds in HTML Articles are low rez

Some extra details from Adobe Support:I have tested this several ways including directly in the desktop browser and it always loads the video with the "Auto" setting for quality. I'm not sure how that is selected by the youtube service (depending on browser/device or whatever parameters) but it always brings up maximum resolution on desktop and 360p on mobile no matter what I tried. So this is not really related to AEM Mobile but to how youtube feeds the video. Unless the video is already at the...

Youtube Embeds in HTML Articles are low rez

I am using HTML articles with youtube embeds. Overall, the videos work, but they are fixed on the default low def versions. As some of these are set to play full width in my App, they don't look as sharp at all. The original videos are full HD. • I have included the high rez parameters with the embed link in the HTML, and it plays in HD when I preview articles in the browser.• Ipad Youtube app is set to play to the highest rez available, but embeds still load/play at low rez. I need the actual e...

Custom Fonts Display in Layouts but not in Development APP
Avatar

I have some custom fonts that aren't showing up in my display app. I have uploaded both WOFF and TTF versions through the AEMM interface. They show up in the font selection list and display in the layout/card construction area perfectly. But when I view the development app, I only get the default font for all content.Prior to the AEMM launch, I did upload the fonts with the app in the DPS2015 interface and they worked at that time. Any new tricks here besides populating the font fields in the AE...

Oops - Yep - That was it - I had eliminated some older collections and forgotten that the top level wont display that view. Everything working as it should now. Thanks!

I should specify, The Collection lets me change to Browse Page, and saves, but the change never "takes" on the App.

"Collection Open Default" Not Updating
Avatar

I'm having a problem in the collection properties settings since the switch to AEM. Iam finishing up a development application - I just finished creating the layout, but I cant get the "Collection Open Default" to function as Browse Page (Show Cards. layouts etc). It remains forever stuck on Content View (opens to individual article) no matter what I do. Any other collection changes I make update just fine. This has only been a problem since the switch to AEM.I have a single layout, applied to a ...

The @font-face call from CSS worked just fine for offline reading when I linked to local font files - which I included with the other assets when generating the HTML article.

Note: I meant "set to content page", not browse page. Big difference there.

Thanks! Good to know. I actually a found a pretty good alternate solution.I created another responsive article - basically a table of contents - put that single page in a collection, and set it to browse page. That seems to do the job nicely.

Mobile Navigation Layouts

I've created a publication with responsive HTML articles with the intention that they would work at smartphone sizes as well. The DPS system navigation layout looks/works fine at Ipad size. At mobile (iPhone size), everything scales down nicely except the text.Text size remains constant, but at smartphone size only a few characters fit on the card, which makes the title unreadable. Is there any way to adjust text size (or any other navigation characteristics) based on device size?

Not sure about the bootstrap specifics, but If the article requires any assets for construction that aren't in the main folder, DPS will probably fail to launch the article - even if it builds the article file without any problems.

Youtube Forced HD Playback in HTML articles

I have several youtube iframe embeds, and I cannot get them to play in HD (720) by default in the app.I feel certain I've appended the video URL parameters for HD correctly - the same code works fine on other live webpages. It also works fine on the HTML file used to build the article when previewed through Brackets. But it always plays at 360 within the app (iPad)Is there any trick or alternative method for this?

font file types needed for DPS 2015 HTML articles (@font-face)

I've been using @font-face for fonts in HTML articles and they seem to be working fine. However, I'd like to get the article package file sizes as small as possible. Font packages from places like fontsquirrel include multiple font files to ensure browser compatibility: ttf, woff, eot svg etc.I'm assuming articles generated through DPS don't need that kind of coverage, and I can delete most of those extra file types and reduce article package size. Is this the case? If so, which font file type is...

Is there a trick to using Tyepkit fonts in DPS 2015 HTML articles?Typically to include your Kit to a webpage, it is assigned to the URL of the site. I tried using the bundle id (reverse domain structure) but that doesn't seem to work.Whats the method here?
