Re: Touch UI clears multifield text on mobile ariellea4070516 - Adobe Experience Manager
smacdonald2008 I am trying to understand how the Granite Multifield works. We have a similar use case and are trying to apply logic similar to what is seen here and this HelpX tutorial: https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/using/htl_tab_component.html. To my newbie eyes it looks like it may be depend on ACS AEM Commons to store data as JSON. Is this correct or am I misinterpreting? Thanks in advance for your help!

This is still happening, by the way. We'll open a daycare ticket to see if this issue can be addressed.

Dynamic Page Creation ariellea4070516 - Adobe Experience Manager
We want to build functionality that allows users to create a page dynamically through a form. I found this article concerning how to use the Page Manager API but this appears to be for the author instance:https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/using/aem63_createPage.html Is there a way to publish pages dynamically? Thanks in advance for your insight.A.

Re: Constraint Violation Exception when trying to add node property ariellea4070516 - Adobe Experience Manager
Thanks Gaurav, I was not planning on using the WCMUsePojo in production ready code but simply experimenting in a quick fashion to understand what logic should be used to process form entries into node property updates. Also, "nodePropertyName" and "Value" were my fillers to help explain what was previously there "email" and "example@gmail.com." I have moved my code into an AEM core bundle and will utilize JSP to return my param values. Thanks!

JavaScript Use-API and Multivalues ariellea4070516 - Adobe Experience Manager
Concerning this tutorial on creating a tabular layout dialog, I have a question about the mechanics at work.Specifically, I am trying to understand the following line:if (item.hasOwnProperty("multivalues"))I understand that `item` is using `properties` (org.apache.sling.api.resource.ValueMap) to traverse the value map and get the node by the name of `subscriptionmulti`.However, where is the `multivalues` property coming from?Thank you kindly for your assistance!Arielle

AEM Documentation - a Big Thank you! ariellea4070516 - Adobe Experience Manager
This is not a question, per se, but rather a thanks. I've recently come across what appears to be new AEM documentation that has proved helpful in explaining some of the intricacies of AEM technologies. As there is not a lot of AEM documentation out there (but rather a lot of cargo-cult tutorials) my team and I have had difficulty understanding the internal mechanisms at work on the AEM stack.I'm not sure who authored these articles but, from my team and I, we wanted to say thank you as they have...

Using social components outside of Communities ariellea4070516 - Adobe Experience Manager
Is it possible to use a Social component from the SCF outside of communities? Namely, we would like to extend components such as the comments component (/libs/social/commons/components/hbs/comments) to a normal AEM sites app without having to instantiate a community site project within that app. Thank you in advance!

It’s not blank. I can see the page content as shown in both tutorials. But the components are not editable or present in the side rail.

Re: Loading clientlibs by component ariellea4070516 - Adobe Experience Manager
Also, this solution injects clientlibs in the body of the page, which defeats the purpose of a component-based architecture (increasing the performance of an app) by forcing the client to re-render the page. And adding to the body is invalid, 'link' tags should only be added in the head of a document.

I thought ‘cq’ was deprecated since AEM 5.3. Shouldn’t we be using ui now?
