Hi, I have two parts to my question below.1) We have in Production an editable template with initial content and now there is a requirement to update a part of this initial content and we want it to reflect on all pages that were first created based on that template.I know that if I create a new instance of this page, it will have the updated initial content but I want to know whether it is possible or if there are workarounds to have it reflected on the prior created page. 2) If we make a chang...

Hi @santhosh_kumark Thanks for the response. I get what you are trying to say. But why do I see the dialog fields populated with design values before I do unlock (for the first time) and switch to initial mode. What I understand is - this statement '${cqDesign.fieldLabel}' should fetch the value from its associated policy node irrespective of modes you are in. I may be wrong here but my question is still valid - why do I see the dialog fields populated with design values before I do unlock (for t...

Hi,In our project, we are using editable templates and core components combination as the foundation for Content As A Service Api's (CaaS). But when I unlock the component and go to Initial Content mode, the dialog fields gets blank. Moving back to structure mode the dialog fields are still blank. So what I'm noticing is - Upon unlocking/locking process the design values disappear from dialog property fields.Interestingly thedesign values shows up in the page cre...

Hi @Vijayalakshmi_SThanks for the answer and guidance.I tried this approach and it worked fine but my excitement was short-lived as I'm experiencing weird behavior. It works fine and is all good but, when I save the content or unlock/lock the component the cqdesing values disappear and do not show up thereafter.I'm not sure what wrong I'm doing. I'm using core component version - 2.11.0/ AEM 6.5.4.0 Here are a few screenshot and code snippet (if it helps to troubleshoot) cq dialogcq_design_dialog...

Hello,After a component is added and unlocked in the structure mode of an editable template, the whole component i.e every field of the component is available for edit in page authoring mode.I have a requirement where, when I unlock a component, I want only the selected fields of the component to be available for edit in page authoring mode.Say, for example, Text core component has following fields:textidIn structure mode after I add a Text component to my template, I want to author just the 'id...
