I tried putting the cq:noDecoration="true" tag in the component that is giving me the trouble, but to no avail.  Am I doing this correctly?

What i ended up doing was using an iparsys in the page and creating child pages.

I'm trying to make a static template with three components in AEM 6.2, two of which should each be the same for every page made using the template, but editable for the template as a whole.  I'm looking for something similar to static variables in Java, but with components.  Is such a thing possible...
