upstream is using revision x joew68937582 - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
I ran into some odd behavior today and wanted to report it as potentially needing a fix.I created a new library and made sure I had it selected as my working library. I then added a second condition to an existing rule. When I clicked the "Save to Library and Build" button the build failed. The reason given was that revision x was already in the upstream. I checked the upstream and sure enough, the upstream contained revision x and my attempted build contained revision x (latest). I then looked ...

Re: rapid rollback joew68937582 - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
The impetus behind the original idea was simply to be able to return to a known good state. That said, if the solution were to rebuild the "recipe" of the past library, that solution could potentially be applied to any library where the recipe is still known.Hopefully I'm not publishing test libraries to production, limiting my use case to the previous library, but rebuilding any past library might be useful, and conceivably wouldn't be more difficult to architect. However, if the ability to reb...

Re: rapid rollback joew68937582 - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
Hi Ellen,I don't know of a good way to do this currently. What I've done to reduce my likelihood of needing to do a rollback is to put any scripting in external files named with a hash value that I load with custom html. That way if a script has negative, unanticipated consequences I can update the custom html to point to the previous script. That keeps my coding out of Launch and in a repository where I can handle change management better. This obviously doesn't take care of everything, but it ...

checking rule in built library not updated joew68937582 - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
From the Publishing tab, when I click on a built library to view its contents, then click a Rule to verify that changes to the rule are present in the build I get an out of date view of the rule on this Edit Rule screen. Here are some notes I took on what I ran into and how I eventually worked around it;July 30- Rules tab, Adobe Target says it was last modified Mar 26, this is wrong, an action in this rule was modified last week.Open the "Adobe Target" rule and the actions contain the latest upd...

last modified date is wrong joew68937582 - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
This might be new, because I don't recall noticing this previously, but this morning (4 June) I edited a couple rules and then notice that when I went to add them to a library the latest revision listed a date from March. I cancelled out of the library creation and returned to the Rules tab to verify my changes had been saved. They had, and the listing on the Rules tab also listed the same March dates. Each edited rule had different dates, but the dates were the same as what was presented when c...

rapid rollback joew68937582 - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
I would like functionality that would facilitate rapid rollback of a published library. Such a feature would facilitate returning the previously published library to being in use in the case that a severe issue cropped up with the most recently published library. This could take the form of rebuilding a library in the publish history / column, and should probably cause the rolled back library to return to development status, or possibly adding the option to rollback the currently published libra...

Launch publishing workflow notifications joew68937582 - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
I'd like to be able to set up notification rules associated with when a library is submitted for approval, approved, and published. Launch admins would be responsible for setting up notification rules & settings.Notifications could be sent to an email group and/or to a Slack channel.
