The code seems to work fine now. Not sure why it wasn't working earlier. Thanks edubey and Arun.

Hi Arun,Thanks for the reply.I am using HTL in the same way as you have used in the example and getting the exact same result in inspect element console as shown in snapshot. However, the issue is when I right click on the page and choose the option "View Page Source", there the output is different. And as I mentioned earlier, I wasn't facing this issue with AEM6.3, only after upgrading to 6.4 the problem appeared.

Hi Team,I have a requirement to render special characters like "doublequote" ("), "quote" ('), "less than" (<), "greater than" (>) in textfield/pathfield. The problem now is these characters get HTML encoded in the view source page. So, if an Input expression in textfield is<%= formatDate(new Date(), "%2D.%2M.%4Y") %>It is displayed as <%= formatDate(new Date(), "%2D.%2M.%4Y") %> Expected result: <%= formatDate(new Date(), "%2D.%2M.%4Y") %>I have tried using context='unsafe' but it is not working...

Hi Team,I have a requirement where user inputs <%= formatDate(new Date(), "%2D.%2M.%4Y") %> in RTE.If I check the view page source, the data is rendered as <%= formatDate(new Date(), "%2D.%2M.%4Y") %> Desired result is <%= formatDate(new Date(), "%2D.%2M.%4Y") %> I tried adding context = 'unsafe' but it is not working for RTE although the context works like a charm for textfield or pathfield. Is there a way to get the expected result in RTE as well?

Hi Team,I have multiple dictionaries under "/etc/project_name/i18n"(e.g "/etc/project_name/i18n/default" and "/etc/project_name/i18n/overlay").My requirement is picking up the values first from overlay path and if the overlay dictionary is empty, select the default path. With the usage of internationalization in sightly, I am always getting the key values from "default" dictionary first. Is there a way to change this order of preference?Thankyou

Hi smacdonald2008,Thanks for the reply. The issue here is not with setting the default value. Let me try to explain the issue with the help of some snapshots. The above snapshot shows the selection of "center" radio button (which I achieved via checked(boolean) property).I selected the "Top" radio button and clicked submit. Now if I reopen the dialog, I see the following:I hope the question is more clear than before. Thanks

I have a set of radio buttons (top, center and bottom). My requirement is such that I have used the property "checked" as true to show "center" as the selected one when the component is dragged and dropped on the page. If I open the dialog, selects the radio button "top" and click submit, I am getting the value as "top" in my html page. But, if I reopen the dialog, the "center" button is selected instead of "top".As per requirement, I can't change the order of radio button as well as default sel...

AEM provides the property "maxlength" for textfield in touch UI but it doesn't work for richtext. Is there any property similar to maxlength for richtext which can perform the same functionality.
