What are the pitfalls of showing a test winner to 100% of the traffic using Target? archits30249934 - Adobe Target
Often times we test new components or variants which cannot be implemented due to CMS limitations or development team's sprint cycles. If we are to show a test winner to 100% of the traffic using a new activity i.e. experience targeting activity for 6-8 months, what could be the impact on the page performance?

Re: A4T variables in workspace - use Visits or UV? archits30249934 - Adobe Target
Thanks for the explanation tanvia28417128, I totally agree with you that UV and Visits are entirely different metrics. But I guess if look at the visits metrics against the Activity name in workspace, it will show me 2 visits for the Z activity. As explained in Analytics & Target - Target is a visitor based system and activity experiences are assigned and persist at visitor level, not the visit level. If you use the visits metric, know that it reports on each session that a visitor initiates aft...

Re: Lift & Confidence for calculated metrics in A4T archits30249934 - Adobe Analytics
Hi Amelia, While this idea is being considered for future, it would be awesome if Adobe can share how to build a calculated metric in Adobe Analytics for confidence calculation. I understand that the calculated metric builder has some advanced formula and functions but how to use them for the confidence calculation?

A4T variables in workspace - use Visits or UV? archits30249934 - Adobe Target
I would like to understand what is the ideal way to pull numbers for an A4T activity in workspace. Should we use visits or unique visitors?Does using visits against an A4T variable means total number of visits made my visitors? No matter they enter into the activity in all of their visits or not.Example: If there is a Z activity running on a X product page, and a visitor makes 2 visit on the website, 1 visit on the X product page and 1 visit when he did not visit the X product page. So in worksp...

Re: Manual Allocation Set At 50:50, Actually Splitting 60:40 (and other issues) archits30249934 - Adobe Target
Hi Jordan,There could be multiple factors affecting the traffic split among your control and challenger variants. Firstly, total traffic in the test. If the test is in the initial stage after launch and the numbers are small, you might see an unequal split. However, as the traffic increases the split should be as you have set manually in Target. Example, for a low traffic page(100 Visitors per page) you might not see an equal split initially.Secondly, Target and Analytics have different engines ...

Under what scenario would you not split 50-50? archits30249934 - Adobe Target
I would like to understand from other Target or optimization experts if you have worked on an A/B test where you have not split 50-50 traffic between the control and the challenger and if yes what's the reason behind it.I understand that doing a 50-50 split reach the statistical significance faster thus reducing the testing period. What if I do a 20-80 or 80-20 split? If I do that how to know how much traffic do I need per variant to reach statistical significance? Thanks,Archit

Lift & Confidence for calculated metrics in A4T archits30249934 - Adobe Analytics
The current document for A4T says that every metric is available, including any custom or calculated metrics that are built-in in Analytics. However, when we select the calculated metrics as the primary goal for an activity in Target, the lift and confidence calculations are not available in Target and Analytics.Edit: While this idea is being considered for future, it would be awesome if Adobe can share how to build a calculated metric in Adobe Analytics for confidence interval calculation. I un...
