Hi,I've created a calculated metric that divides a participation metric counting the next page in a linear funnel by visits where there were activity map link clicks. Basically I want to understand which links might be causing drop off.Generally it looks about right except for one of the links which is counting more in the participation metric than there are actual visits where the link was clicked. If I drop a dimension on the link which breaks it down by individual customer cookies you can see ...

Hi,I didn't think this was possible until I created a segment and there was data in it.Why does this work and what is the difference between this and if it was set to Visitor? Thanks

Thanks Sarah,I understand the difference between 'And' and 'Then' usually, but what slightly confuses me is that the 30 days dimension seems to completely restrict the segment to only include data within that 30 days, no matter how it's contained. So I'm wondering if you put Page A 'then' last last 30 days, does Page A sit outside of the last 30 days? If so, what really is the difference between (Page A 'And' Last 30 days) and (Last 30 days 'Then' Page A) as I get different numbers for all 3 of t...

Why does removing the entry page 'exists' stop my segment from working?

Hi,I've created the following segment, hoping to see customers who have visited a page in the last 30 days, but who have returned, so that the current visit isn't the one when the page was visited. Basically it's a page that I'd expect customers to return as a result of, and I want to analyse entry pages and opportunities for personalisation.Currently the segment isn't quite right so I do need help with that, but for some reason when I remove the Entry Page exists at the bottom of the segement i...

It is, but the segment I've created doesn't seem to work like that.If I exclude entries to that page I'm left with the visits where the entries were other pages. It still calculates the bounce rate against the entry pages, not the 1st page of the form.As far as i'm aware bounce rate is calculated like this:Bounce rate = bounces(of entry page)/entriesI would like to calculateBounce rate = Bounces of specific page/specific page visit(not necessarily the entry page)

Doesn't that still apply the bounce rate the whatever the entry page is? I wish to know the bounce rate against step 1 of my form not the entry page. Basically a way of measuring they visit the page and don't interact

Hi urs.boller,So I have a transactional funnel which is essentially several pages of forms. Some traffic lands directly on this form but other traffic will pass through the rest of the website before entering the funnel. I want to understand what the bounce rate is of the traffic that visits the first page of the funnel but were already on the website. We have direct calls on most form fields, is there some way we can leverage this to understand the bounce rate? Thanks

Target tests reported in Analytics counting different generations from Target

HiWhen I run an A/B test to be reported in analytics I often get a different count of generations between Analytics and Target.I like to be able to use workspace to drill down into the test and understand performance split out by different dimensions etc. Unfortunately in workspace you can't see the statistical significance so I've been checking that in Target.Annoyingly I get a different count of generations (Target seems to add more) which then skews the numbers slightly. Is this a bug? Are the...
