I recently learned that one of the Omniture Discover project manager's changed the cap on unique results from 4 million to 50K to increase tool performance. However, this was never communicated to us and only learned after it was implemented and we started experiencing time out issues with our save projects. Shame on whomever that was responsible. In the filter options, it helps to be able to make an exact match by using the equals options to clean up results. Robert YuAT&T Interactive

Currently, when a report times out, you get an 321 error. A solution to this problem is to be able to schedule the report to run in the back end or to increase reporting/processing capacity. Robert YuAT&T Interactive

It would be nice to have documentation on the type of Discover errors that appear in the reports. It will help us better understand the issue and might assist with troubshooting.

Discover Segment Limitation after the New Maintenance

After the new maintenance release, Discover limits the number of results to below 50K. That's really doesn't work for us and for other organizations that get alot of traffic (SEM, SEO, Direct, etc.). Please change it back so we're able to drill down our traffic by key traffic segments. Robert YuAT&T Interactive

Can we capture carrier for mobile devices?

The user agent string does not consistently capture and pass this value. With the launch of the Verizon iPhone next month it would be helpful to distinguish traffic from AT&T iPhone users versus Verizon iPhone users. Maybe this can be a standard report under the mobile section of SiteCatalyst. Robert YuAT&T Interactive
