Great idea, this idea is something we are considering for ARB 5.0, along with dynamic date functions being integrated into the filename.

Unique Visitors should be available to all v15 report suite eVars under the "Standard - traffic" metrics dropdown menu in Step 2 of 2 of the create request wizard. If it does not show for you, I would recommend opening a support ticket with ClientCare.

You are correct, the capability to set a fixed start date and a rolling end date is not currently available in ReportBuilder.
