@Marius - Great idea!  You can then use that as the implementation.  It would save those settings in some sort of VISTA rule based on various criteria on the page (URL, headers, etc), and that is all you need to code the page.  Imagine the ease and speed of implementation.

How about one custom variable that does both what a prop and an evar does?  This would ease implementation, cause less confusion, and make reporting amazing!  Imagine, traffic and conversion metrics all in one report!

You can hack this right now by coding some sort of logic on the page.  You can look at the "onunload" event and see if the visitor clicked a link.  If they didn't, then send a custom link with this data.  It would be nice if it were built right into the plug-in though.

You can already do this by using the exitLinkHandler plug-in that Omniture offers, so it will be placed in the JS code.  You'll then use a prop to store the "Exit Page" or "Exit Site Section" value in a new prop.  You can then use these props to correlate with the exit links.  But this would be a gr...

LOVE THIS!  Also, make the campaign manager better so you can manage everything *easily* within SiteCatalyst.  Maybe make one or two updates to SAINT without having to upload a file.  Online user interface = BIG WIN!

Is this not a setting for the browser?  I have my Firefox set to open new windows in a new tab and it does this for me.

And stop having this as the default metric in SiteCatalyst as well.  Sure, we can go and fix it in the Admin Console, but why not make it easier?  Maybe it can be a setting when you setup a new report suite?

You can already get this, you just have to have it enabled by Omniture.  Discover of course enables everything for everything, but SiteCatalyst (and hence RB or Excel Client) have to have this setting enabled.  ClientCare or your AM can do this.

As users create new variables and settings in SiteCatalyst, it would be awesome to ultimately use SiteCatalyst as the central location for keeping notes.  Setting up a separate database or managing one copy of an Excel spreadsheet can get messy.  But having SiteCatalyst hold this information for you...
