Right now in SC15, you have to go to the Admin or DW to create a segment. It would be nice to click a link either in the drop down of the segment selector or nearby to quickly create a segment.
Although I understand how funnels currently work, most new SiteCatalyst users expect it to work this way, and it makes complete sense. I agree on this one as well!
This is something that is addressed by the getQueryParam plug-in, version 2.4. You can contact your account manager or consultant to get this. It supports grabbing data from the hash tag in addition to the query string.

Omniture already collects this data and it has a 256 character limit. They wouldn't have to change a thing. Why waste another prop/evar to do this? This would be very helpful.
