Definitly agree on multi touch attribution, but I see the implementation
a little differently. First touch and last touch are good, and there
should be a third "touch" column. That third column should count
everything in between first and last. In our business we're focued on
lead generation. I consider the first touch the "introducer". The last
touch before conversion is the "closer". Everything in between is
"influencing". I would love to see the marketing channel overview
I agree completely, this is a real pain when presenting reports with
obviosuly incorrect data. When this is implemented, however, it should
not be an average of averages. This would also be incorrect information.
It should instead recalculate the total based on all available data, and
then come up with the real number. For example, If we're talking about
bounce rate, it shouldn't provide an average of bounce rate, it should
tally alll the data for the rows in the chart and re-calculate the total...
Nice that version 14 was made the default. Now can you make it default
to version 15? Client Care says to delete cookies, and click remember
me, but it still goes back to 14 every time. It's a daily frustration.
Completely agree this is required, and the recent 'fix' isn't a solution
at all. It's rare I find these numbers useful, but common that I need
more colums. These additional numbers are unwanted and just add noise.
Trolling ideas myself, and was happy when I saw so many votes for this,
but saddened it's almost the end of 2012 and the problem still exists.
This is a huge problem that makes the reports look really bad. This is
the face of the product for many users, so it should be considered very
important. I agree not to worry about the length of the report and rows
available. In the oulier case that a heading wraps to 3 rows, just show
seven insted of ten rows of data. We can make it taller if needed.
What does partially implemented mean? Is this working now? I'm new to
Omniture, but all of our previous reporting is rolling 13 months, so I
will find it very frustrating if this isn't a setting we can use.
