@cjpberry : I have also been frustrated by this in the past. We are working on a number of UI enhancements to Processing Rules and I will ask if this can be done as part of that release. 

Great suggestion. This is something we would love to do in the reports & analytics (SiteCatalyst) UI and are targeting for future work. Also, as you likely know, this can already be done in ad hoc analysis (Discover).

Great suggestions, Andrew. We are looking at some significant improvements to calculated metrics across all of the Adobe Analytics components. We'll keep an eye on this idea as it gets votes and comments.
