Agreed 100%, @michael-jet. We'll be removing the date so that comparison is possible. 

@jer @viclin: This should be available on November 10. Note that this will NOT give you hour as a dimension to be used anywhere. It will let you compare a specific hour against the same hour on another day. For hour as a dimensions, we continue to recommend a Time Parting solution using JavaScript.

Very good point and request, Andy. This makes a lot of sense to me. I can't commit to anything right now, but we'll keep an eye on this idea and discuss internally. 

Interesting idea, @dan_ellis. I like the idea of moving this logic out of the segments themselves. We'll keep an eye on this. 

In case you haven't been doing this, when you add that text visualization you can collapse it so that it only shows its title. I know it's not a "solution" to this need, but as a workaround it is not terrible. 

Good suggestion, @GilliganOnData2. I have observed this myself as well. 

I'm going to move this to Under Review as we are actively designing a potential solution to this request. I cannot offer an ETA at this time, however.
