Sure Dave, please see below. Run a marketing channel report I suggest you try forming what you need in Analysis Workspace.  You can dynamically make what you want to do analysis on.

Market Channel report is similar.  But you need to make sure you have Marketing Channels defined.

How recent is your application ID and secret?  They do expire after several hours if they are not used for security purposes.
