Re: iPhone app - landscape mode and zooming - Adobe Analytics 12-04-2013
We actually removed the landscape mode from the app a long time ago because the data showed that less than 8% of users were using it and that did not warrant the development effort to maintain keeping landscape mode in the app. No plans to add zoom capabilities at this time.

Re: The Mobile SDK Code is Painfully slow, and needs to employ a methodology that makes it run faster - Adobe Experience Cloud Mobile 12-04-2013
The 3.x SDK's are highly performant have been since last May when they were released. The SDK handles all the threading and we've tested it with over 2000 concurrent threads with no degradation on the device CPU. If you have some data points on performance of the 3.x level of the SDKs, please send them over to me at rjwoods@adobe.com. We've benchmarked the SDK's against many other analytics SDK's in the market and we're highest performing in terms of speed to send 100 hits, least impact on the d...

Re: Replicate iPhone best practices library to the Android, iPad, or Blackberry SDKs - Adobe Experience Cloud Mobile 12-04-2013
Hi Chris - just cleaning up some old ideas in the mobile category and this one we implemented July 2012. iOS, Android, Win8, WP8, and OSX are all at parity for Lifecycle metrics (formerly known as Best Practices metrics). The metrics are now automatically sent in as context data and a simple configuration in SC admin console saves them to system variables so custom variables do not need to be used for them anymore. Re: Have complete parity between SiteCatalyst Dashboards and the iOS and Android apps - Adobe Analytics 12-04-2013
The mobile SDKs for iOS, Android, Win8, WP8, and OSX are at parity for data collection with minor platform specific exceptions, like Google Play campaign tracking which is unique to the Google Play store. For reporting, the out-of-the-box mobile app reports created by the lifecycle metrics are at complete parity across platforms as well. If you want to use these capabilities please download the SDK's and see the documentation for the platforms here: https://developer.omniture.com/en_US/content_p...

Re: iOs/Android library matrix - Adobe Experience Cloud Mobile 12-04-2013
All the 3.x SDK's ship with comprehensive release notes for iOS, Android, Win8, WP8, and OSX. The release notes will show you changes for each version so you know what the updates are if you jump releases. Also, I post them all as a comment on the download page in developer connections so you can get an email when a new version is posted if you follow the download page.

Re: Add OS version to the Mobile > Operating System report - Adobe Analytics 12-04-2013
We've had this for apps since last July. OS, OS version, and many other device data elements are automatically tracked in the lifecycle metrics in the SDKs. See the documentation: http://microsite.omniture.com/t2/help/en_US/sc/appmeasurement/ios/index.html#Lifecycle_Metrics Also, the lifecycle metrics now are sent to system variables so you do not need to use any of your custom variables for them, a simple button in the admin console. See docs here: http://microsite.omniture.com/t2/help/en_US/sc...
