Sometimes in a Workspace I want to have several visualizations in a row,
or have multiple visualizations of different shapes and sizes. If I have
a gap in my Workspace that I want to fill with a visualization, it would
be useful if when I drag the visualization over it automatically resizes
to fit the space I have left, rather than being the width of a whole row
and shifting all my existing visualizations out the way. e.g in the
image below it would size to fit in the red space rather than knock...
Would it be possible to see a tabular view of the 'Flow' Visualization
in Workspace, similar to the old 'Next Page' and 'Previous Page'
reports? The visualization looks great and is brilliant for dynamic
investigation and deepdive, but a table would be useful for an
at-a-glance view and easy comparison of the top previous and next pages.
I love being able to edit labels in my Workspace vizualisations, however
it would be great if they could be locked or fixed to what you want them
to say, like the data source can be where you select the padlock. For
example in a Workspace I have a line graph with 3 lines, I have labelled
them 'This Week', 'Last Week' and 'Last Year'. I have then used the
Panel Dropdown feature to allow my stakeholders to select the page they
want to see data for. However when you select a new page it returns the
When dropping an element into 'Drop a Segment Here (or any other
component)' in a Workspace panel, it automatically creates the
segment/filter at a hit level. Could there be an option or pop up that
asks you to select Hit, Visit or Visitor? Just to remove the step of
then having to go in and edit, if you could configure it as you go I
think would be more user friendly for my non-analyst stakeholders that
i'm trying to migrate into Workspace.
I have been playing around with the new panel dropdown Workspace feature
released in the September 2018 update and think it’s great, however once
I add it to a Workspace there does not seem to be a way to remove it? I
have to replace the dropdown list with a dimension/segment etc. and then
delete that. Am I missing something?
Hi Hyder,Makes total sense, and I get that it's technically correct so
won't be changed. I was wondering if you'd managed to find a way around
it at all (i.e. to hide days that are outside the range)? I ask because
i'm building a workspace for non-analytical users with trended line
graphs for the last full week and they just look messy when there's a
sudden drop either at the beginning (for entries) or end (for exits). I
know they will point it out and struggle to understand the reasons
I've been building some Funnel Vizualizations in Workspace, and clicked
the "x" to get rid of the 'All Visits' summary at the top. However when
I save the Workspace and then close and re-open, the summary number has
returned. I want to get rid of it permanently because its not relevant
to the funnel and I don't want it to be mis-interpreted by users.
Morning Gigazelle,Just looking now and now unable to replicate the
issue. Looking through the June release notes it looks like it was fixed
as part of the June update;"Other Analytics Issues: Fixed a Segment
Builder issue where an inner container could not be moved out of its
parent container. (AN-162497)"Many Thanks,Katie
I love how currently you can have rows from multiple dimensions in
Workspace Freeform tables. However it would be useful if we could also
mix in segment rows with dimensions, as we quite often have to use
segments to get to the view we require. For example today I had a table
showing line level data for a list of custom products. I also wanted to
show the total numbers for that custom list, which would require a
segment (e.g. summing visits for individual products to get to a visit
number for th...
I am able to remove it by clicking the x on the right hand side as in my
first screenshot, but after saving and reloading the project it
reappears. So that suggests to me it should be removeable, but seems to
be a bug where it keeps coming back! Does that happen for you?
