"app.runtimeHighlight" holds the value and you may turn on by setting it to 'true' or off by setting it to 'false'.In my case I set it to off at form:ready event.if (app.runtimeHighlight == true) app.runtimeHighlight = false;Good Luck,

I probably guess you are using the following (this.rawValue=this.parent.index+1)code not in layout:ready event. It will work if you move it to layout:ready event. Also check the telephone numer validation event and move the code out of layout:ready, calculate, validate events.Good Luck

One prominent way to handle this is separate Header and detail rows in to two subforms (Sub1, Sub2) and then use "Overflow Leader" under Pagination Tab in Object pallet (for Sub2) to set the header to print on top of every page break.

Though this requirement is easy to meet, we need to use code in multiple events to make this happen. It is difficult to explain in wording. All I gave you was concept how to get this done. If you need additional assistance I would be able to code for one set of fields if you can email copy of your template at 'meetsekharv AT yahoo.com'. Then you could copy over and customize to your needs for rest of the form.

Check the 'Layout' tab and look for Height property for all the subforms in the tree. Having 'Expand to fit' and 'Auto-fit' checked under Height property will make the things better for you.

I worked on similar requirements in the past. Here are two options I use that time.1. Use a dropdown above the field text and script the events to populate the floating field in the text.2. Use a response object method in JavaScript to accept input from users and populate floating field.I know these are not the strait answers for your situation but can be considered as alternative solutions. In my case I have added additional code to hide the dropdown when curser is not in the subform and elimin...

Tim, Any such code go under script editor section, in your case you may use the code under 'preOpen' event of the dropdown box. Also make sure you choose JavaScript in the event section for this code to function.Good Luck,SekharN

I have done some thing similar to this using 'index' property of dynamic subform. I your case you may have to use subform (child) in a subform (parent). And when displaying the number trap the value of index respect to the current position and then concat them then display. For example code should look similar toin the initailize event:: JS code.var Cindex, PindexPindex = this.parent.parent.index;Cindex = this.parent.index;this.rawValue = Pindex+"."+Cindex;

As I mentioned those are server based products and expensive. I have no idea how much they cost as there is a new version out since we implemented in our environment. Also they are mostly based on number of user licenses. As you intent to use only for few forms going in that direction may be very expensive. You may contact Adobe. Better you stick to what you have now and use just the PDFs.Again LC Designer will allow you save any template as PDF and/or XDP. Developers choose one or the other bas...

One simple way to resolve the situation is making those fields as numaric fields.Convertion operations in FormCalc is not made simple. So other promissing way to deal the situation is change this to JS code.if (Field1.rawValue < 2.5) { Field2.presence = "invisible"; }else{ Field2.presence = "visible"; }

LC designer can produce PDF or XDP. PDFs can be static or interactive templates and can be viewed or used with help of Adobe Acrobat/Reader. XDP Templates are capable of render as PDF or HTML however need to run through other LiveCycle server based products like LC Formserver or Workflow to be able to render. Hope this gave you clue.

One more tip that helps:If you have the expanding field in a subform, better to set the subform also to expand and keep this expanding field at the bottom of subform (make usre you had the layout that way) other wise the expanding field may over write other data items or static text when get expanded.

Did you declare AcctNm? it works both in LC 7.1 and 8.I have similar scenario in one of my forms and the Loop works for me. I guess you have to tweak the following to suite your requirement and context.AcctNm = AcctNms.item(i).value;try changing some thing one or two times if you did not get pass the issue I can help you at "meetsekharv AT yahoo.com" if you can email me your form and XML.

$record.fields.AcctNm[1].value should give you the value you are looking for. With out having ".value" at the end it will consider it as just an object.

Here is the updated JS code for you....You are trying to compare "5 min." to some numaric value which will fail due to conversion issues. I see many reasons why it does not work.1. You are just using Accum1, Accum2.... rather than using relative reference to the actual field values. Example:form1.#subform[0].Table1.Row1[0].Accum1.rawValue2. If you want to calculate the some thing in multiple rows you should have code with reference to that particular row like:$.parent.Accum1.rawValueso that the same formula will be used over and over in multiple rows.3. Calculate event is not my preference and never use myself. Rather I prefer usi...

Looks like you are using FormCalc code and unlike JavaScript FormCalc can not self convert data types. Code looks OK but make sure you explicitly convert datatypes rather than depend on system.Also if you can use JS code it will convert data types by it self.then code will look like thisif (PressureRea1 >= PressureReq1 && DurationHeld1 >= DurationReq1) { Results1 = "PASS, No leakage detected" }else { Results1 = "FAIL, See additional comments" }Good luck,SekharN
