data-sly-list is not currently having control to handle iteration order of list. You would have to change the order in the data you are feeding to list using JavaScript or Java Use API, following is example of JavaScript use APIIn logic.js fileuse(function () { var someArrayVar = [1,2,3,4]; return{ someArrayRev : someArrayVar.sort() }; });In HTML Markup ${item}

SCR annotations are deprecated from 6.2 and hence the dependencies needs to be added separately to the POM. Can you please add org.osgi osgi.cmpn 6.0.0as mentioned in [1]It is recommeded to migrate to osgi R6/R7 as part of upgrade process. I used [2] as the reference.[1] - Adobe Experience Manager Help | Developing for AEM 6.4 [2]- AEM Developer Learning : Migration of SCR annotations to OSGi R6 annotations in AEM 6.3

If you have a static user and group list, you can package them up and keep it in nexus / S3. You can pull in and install this package by executing a cURL command on post image pick up.

There was a discussion for same in 2017, https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2321987Don't think nobody at sling has developed this feature to bring it into AEM. Its a very very essential feature in HTML5 for sure

As John mentioned, we should strictly follow Performing an In-Place Upgrade Few corrections on your steps based on the article are1. Before running upgrade, you need to do pre-upgrade tasks mentioned in Pre-Upgrade Maintenance Tasks 2. Stop the instance. Unpack 6.4 jar as a sibling to crx-quickstart folder. While unpacking you dont need the runmode.3. Do the content migration, during that one, you need to use segment-custom-ds profile as yours is an S3 datastore4. Update the S3 connector and ot...

I don't know any quick route for this one, but you can implement the below.1. Create a servlet like /bin/getCurrentUser using logic in [1] (not to create user, but to get current user )2. The servlet should send back the current user3. Create a listener for the dialog fields you need and write a listener logic to invoke the servlet and update the response to the specific field.[1] - Adobe Experience Manager Help | Using Jackrabbit UserManager APIs to create AEM Users and Groups

If you are looking for change visibility of dialog property based on user permissions / user cred, you can use renderconditions.Create rendercondition like /libs/granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/renderconditions/privilege and use it on the dialog field like /libs/dam/gui/content/assets/annotate/jcr:content/actions/moveasset/granite:rendercondition.If you want to get the user details in the dialog field, you should use jackrabit Usermanager APIreference - https://stackoverflow.com/questions...

can you try forcing your maven to fetch again from the the maven/adobe repo. You can use mvn -F clean install Else, try create a blank project using latest maven archetype which should download all the dependencies for you.

This seems to be right approach as I faced something similiar. Unless you remove the entire /etc/tags you won't see them in the /content/cq:tags

Hi,Can you check you have 'install' folder in /apps/kohler/jacobdelafon/ path. If not, please go to crxde and create one and try again. The path you mentioned seems a wrong one too - It should be just http://localhost:4502/apps/kohler/jacobdelafon/install/Did you create the project using maven archetype ?

This is normal as via the console, it will do the invalidation via replication as well. If you are deleting via crx, you need to use the replication tab and replicate the parent node to get the change.

Apologies, true. I got confused with AEM apps. It was called AEM Mobile in the console of 6.2 as below and hence I thought the question is about it came up in the AEM forum view

As per the description, you are having common components. Likewise, create a common template which will act as the template of template. Define policies for various sites based on the differences and they will act like the design rules for static templats. Create various structural templates based on the shared template of template. To be fair, avoid structural changes wherever possible and let layout container take care of it on a page by page basis.

AEM Mobile was build on Phonegap itself (Adobe PhoneGap Build ) and we can create hybrid apps. But Adobe discontinued its from 6.3/6/4 onwards and recommeds content as a service model.I personally loved AEM Mobile where we had a console and can do content releases directly to app. But, I guess the issues with phonegap compared to native made them discontinue them.CaaS is a great model where the content is fully managed in AEM and is exposed to app/spa as rest api. Please go through the discussion in Image upload option disabled in in RTE plugin RTE is not the correct candidate for inserting images. In case you need it badly, you can drag and drop an image into an RTE ( obviously, you will miss all the configurable attributes of img tag )

Hello Andy,to add on to the above comments, below is a frond-end designer and developer workflow suggested by Adobe in one of the sessions. sRegarding the front end stack you want to do, the technology can vary based on how you want to proceed. If you are going to have your frontend stack outside AEM, then you can build as per the current industry standard - NodeJS, ES, SASS, gulp, webpack etc. and use plugin to create aem package of these application. If you want to write frontend code in AEM it...

If you have done inplace upgrade from 6.2, did you do crx2oak migration of the repository ? If not, please follow https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/experience-manager/6-4/sites/deploying/using/in-place-upgrade.html#content-repository-migrationPerforming an In-Place Upgrade . As mentioned in the document, you need to run first unpack, then run crx2oak and then start AEm with the quickstart jar in /app folder. The repository can show wrong in the oak version of blobs are incompatible with the new AEM vers...

You can use oak run to check the connectivity faster. Below is the command for AWS S3, may need tweaking for azure (Jackrabbit Oak – Oak Run NodeStore Connection )Can you screen print your config (sanitised) and the install folder content (connector bundle etc)

1. Have you started AEM with crx3,crx3tar-nofds runmode ? crx3tar-nofds one is mandatory as default is fds. 2. If you check repository folder and if you see datastore, then you are still in fds and hence Azure cloud is not connecting.

If the publisher is accessed via dispatcher, then you need to allow the servlet in dispatcher.any.If you are accessing it directly on publisher, check whether anonymous users has access to /bin/ or the custom servlet path.

Yes, running datastore inconsistency check confirms the issue is related to it. My personal suggestion is to use oak run for any of these type of activities like consistency check as it these operations are memory heavy.Below command will give you consistency check
