Pre LC ES, those 'on disk' license files correspond to installed products based on the serial numbers used and will help LCM and the AdminUI's about box context.Those 'on disk' license files are deprecated in LCES given the removeal of serial numbers.

Can you confirm whether the datasources were configured by verifying it via the Weblogic Admin console?If it hasn't, it should be resolved before continuing with depoyment of the EARs. The full LCM logs would assist further in determining next course of action.

Can you post the full stacktrace?Is your Admin server running/functioning? Are you able to log into it the WL Admin Console at that same IP and port?True, 7001 is admin port which is what LCM expects. LCM interacts with managed servers via the admin server.

You can use the SDK and write some code to deploy them.Usually such errors are server side, so trying another way other then LCM will not likely yield other results.It may be best to resolve the existing issue preventing the DSC from being deployed.

If the service is in a weird state, its possible the JBoss process is still running and consuming ports.Trying to launch JBoss manually using via 'run -c all' may be failing due to port conflicts. The JBoss logs should have some trace related to the error.

How was the datasource configured in Websphere, by LCM or from the admin console?LCM's connection test, and likely the Websphere connection test too, access the database directly.LCM's validate task tests the datasource and uses it to get a connection.

The serial number used will determine what is installed (put to disk). In the case of the trial license you'll get everything...however you can only select Forms when using the LCM to configure/deploy LC to omit the other solution components (deployed for runtime).

Have you initialized LiveCycle using the ConfigurationManager?Once LC is deployed, it should be initialized. That will setup the default schema and data.You will also want to deploy the LC components(services) via the ConfigurationManager.

Would you be able to attach the full log along with the WAS server log.It may be best in the meantime to proceed with deploying the 3 ears using the WAS admin console rather then using LCM.
