Hi all, What are the Main Differences between AEM On Prem and On
Cloud? The way I understood it is that for OnCloud, AEM Version upgrades
and SW Patches are applied by Adobe and not us.Who will handle DevOps?
Who will deploy changes in AEM customizations / configurations? If I want
to implement AEM, Where else is the impact?Which flavor needs more
resources? Appreciate your responses. Thanks,Rama.
Hi all,If I need to Provide the facility to view, compare and roll back

Hi Scott,I understand and agree that AEM does not offer Source Control
Management. But in all projects we set up and external system (like svn)
and use for AEM code check in and check out.Have you come across any use
case/implementation, where even AEM content is checked in and checked
out?If so, how to implement it?Thanks,Rama.
Hi Jorg,I will create a Review/Approve Workflow.I will also create 2
Publish Agents, agent-1 and agent-2But when I invoke Review/Approve
Workflow for the contents meant for Site-1, and Site-2, how to make them
make them use agent-1 and agent-2 respectively? Is there a mechanism to

Hi,Typically, In any system, including AEM, the code is maintained in a
source code control system, like SVN.In here code is checked in and
out. But, in AEM, how could we extend this check in and out feature to
the content as well?I am aware that in JCR, even code is treated on par
with content.Appreciate your feedback.Thanks,Rama.
Hi all,Let us say, I have two sites, Site-1 and Site-2 and they have
different purpose, layout, content, etc.I want one AEM CMS to publish to
both these sites.Kindly suggest how this could be achieved.I could

CMS.But when I publish content, it publishes to a server, based on the
Replication agents configured and so it publishes on to only one
server.Or is it that we need to change Replication agents configuration
for each o...
Hi Gaurav,When I say SW,I mean custom application code on AEM.If I add a
new node for horizontal scaling but my custom application code can't
even support it because of various reasons. I would not count it as a
scalable system.Do I need to take care of Scaling in custom application
code on AEM also?Thanks,Rama.
Hi Gaurav,It is an on-premise installation with MongoMK.From HW point of
view or SW point of view, what all else shall I do for enhancing AEM
Scaling? Is Scaling got anything to do with SW? I can not
Hi Scott, I already have gone through this whitepaper.Hi Gaurav, I
understood these concepts. With Vertical scaling, we increase HW
resources of a single computer system and with Horizontal, we add extra
computer systems.Apart from these concepts, is there a measure taken
from HW point of view or SW point of view, for enhancing AEM
Scaling?Appreciate your support.Thanks,Rama.
