I am finding it very frustrating that the new software is not delivering
the same friendly user experience when it comes to scrollable content.
Each time i try to scroll material in a scrollable frame, the first
reaction (of the software response) is to scroll the page, instead of
the frame content. Can you guys (Adobe Engineers) detect when scrollable
content is present and switch focus to the scrollable content? content
is going to be missed if the content doesn't automatically scroll
Yes, it wouldn't display. We figured it out. The issue was that we
needed to host the feed that we were trying to embed on a server before
embedding it into the article. The feed would show up when we'd test the
HTML on a browser page, but once converted to an article, and loaded
into the app, it would no longer show up. So, setting up an intermediary
host to resolve the connection. Wouldn't connect directly to the Twitter
Has anyone out there had any success with a social feed (twitter feed)
in an HTML article displaying within DPS 2015? We've built an article as
a Social Feed page, and all the HTML stuff shows up fine, but the feed
won't resolve on the published page. Any ideas?
Agree with this completely. However, It seems that that could/should be
an option to be selected when building the app or the project - similar
to burning a CD and specifying the gap between songs. Future release
Ok, so Neil, you're confirming that my assumption of how it would work
is correct? it'll be letterboxed - rotate to display properly and full
screen, right? I've noticed that iPad content is showing up as
letterboxed on the iPhone, but at this point, rotating does nothing.
Makes sense since this isn't implemented yet.
Agreed that Xcode is fast and easy, but only if you are the only one
needing to view your app. Usually, when I create an app, it needs to be
previewed by a team (myself, creative director, art director, project
manager, and client), so diawi.com is a quick and easy way to get to
everyone with one quick and easy link. I haven't tried iFunbox yet. I'll
look into that one! thanks Ivan!
So, I understand that Dual Orientation will not be supported in DPS
2015, but there is talk of Mixed Content. Please clarify if my
understanding of this is correct.Lets say, for example, I had a Dual
Orientation folio where some articles looked better in landscape format
and others looked better in portrait. As I understand it, in DPS 2015, I
would simply add one orientation of each of those articles - as well as
choose a default orientation for the TLC. The App would display properly
in it's de...
