Re: Two or more custom logs - AEM - Adobe Experience Manager 02-05-2018
Hi, The Apache Sling Logging Logger Configuration says this in the description: "The logger names applicable for this logger configuration. Each logger name applies for any child category unless configured otherwise. E.g. a logger name of org.apache.sling applies to logger org.apache.sling.commons unless there is a different configuration for org.apache.sling.commons. (org.apache.sling.commons.log.names)" Also, the LogConfigManager.java file says "The logger names to which this configuration app...

Re: Component specific ClientLibs? - Adobe Experience Manager 02-05-2018
Why don't you have a specific category for the component clientlibs and include the clientlibs in the component jsp/html file itself?

Re: Clientlibs not loading the fonts when placed in apps - Adobe Experience Manager 30-04-2018
you should ideally 'embed' all clientlibs located under /apps in some parent clientlibs under /etc.That should solve your problem.Hope this helps!

Re: CQ is not defined error pop up message in IE11 - Adobe Experience Manager 30-04-2018
If you will include init.jsp(which brings on the sidekick), the error would go away. Have this in your headlibs.html :Hope this helps!

Re: Need to create system user programmatically - Adobe Experience Manager 26-04-2018
Which version of AEM are you on? I can see AEM 6.3 uses Apache Jackrabbit version 2.14.4 which has the method to create system users, UserManager (Apache Jackrabbit 2.14.5 API) .Looks like the method was introduced post Apache Jackrabbit version 2.8.

Re: Image extensions for renditions in DAM. - Adobe Experience Manager 23-04-2018
Hi,If you look at the rendition maker API, RenditionMaker ("The Adobe AEM Quickstart and Web Application.") , you will see there are certain available methods that create a rendition template based on a mimetype passed. If you open DAM update Asset workflow and try to edit the 'Process Thumbnails' step, there is a 'Web enabled Image' in the dialog that takes a mimetype and generates a rendition based on the configuration done.If you want to add more renditions, drag and drop the 'Create Web Enabl...

Re: AEM asset on page publish - Adobe Experience Manager 20-04-2018
There is nothing OOTB available, this required some customization. Please note that the references are fetched via a POST request to /libs/wcm/core/content/reference.json (probably there is a servlet registered via resource type) which takes a page path and return the references. These references are then displayed on the publish wizard page, /libs/wcm/core/content/sites/publishpagewizard, via a clientlib at /libs/cq/gui/components/siteadmin/admin/publishwizard/clientlibs/js/wizard.js. If you wa...
