@Techaspect SolutionsThanks for the response. I have the add on package and was able to use the store pdf option. However was not aware that form needs to be XFA-based adaptive form. I checked briefly while replying here, do you have any idea how the XFA-based forms can be created within AEM/AEM forms ?

Thanks for prompt reply. If I can ask one more thing here briefly mentioned in my previous comment, how is it possible to have users view the forms published as forms and while they fill the form, have an option to view the form as pdf?Eg: Authors design the form in author instances and once done publish the forms. The end user can view the form as a form page. If they want to download the form as a pdf (Or say fill the form and download as pdf)how can that be done?

Thanks lesutton1.We have sort of open options on where we want to proceed but the latter part of what you mentioned [1] is more true. In addition to that we want end users to have an option of downloading their filled form as pdf on click of a button (Not right-click print though )And we want to disable/remove submit button, which is possible it seems. Can you tell if the pdf part is possible? In form page properties I tried under Form Model -- "Document of Record Template Configuration" -- Assoc...

Hello All,I have been looking into AEM forms functionality as a potential option for us to use AEM forms to be designed in Author environment and publish them. (However not looking to utilize publish side submit functionalities yet, allowing users to download forms directly)The desire is to generate a pdf format of the form that is finalized in Author and actually publish the pdf form for users to download meanwhile retaining the form filling capabilities. Can this be done while being in Author ...

I am currently trying to research on AEM forms for its capabilities for desired use cases.I am wondering if it is possible to have author contributors to comment on a form that is under workflow process (a review process) while they review. The thought is that the review will happen in author instance and on completion, final approved version will be published for users to view and download.Using AEM 6.2 SP1 FP2

Thanks for the link, I sort of tried that while researching but the link has more details. Despite of that as you mentioned this seems more informal or provides lesser options than what I am seeking for. I am trying the OSGi workflow (POC level) but it seems with that approach also I need to find a way to save versions everytime the form is moved ahead in the flow.

I wasn't able to edit the initial question, so adding it here..Just to make sure I am looking for the review process that happens internally within author. For example: Dept A submits a form (With few fields etc..).Dept B reviews it. If there are changes to be made, they assign it back to Dept A.Dept A makes changes and submits it back.Dept B moves this to Dept C.At each step a version of form is saved and email notifications are sent to whoever is assigned. While all this happens in Author, once...

Is it possible to use normal workflows to control the authoring before publishing? But I am looking for version creations, user alerts etc while the review process happens. I came accross AEM Forms JEE Workflows, but it seems thats an add on to AEM (part of Live Cycle?. Adds up the LOE and training efforts I guess if resource is an AEM develop...

Thanks Veena. Although I was looking for something directly on the query builder debugger tool, since this query was more for information purposes and currently there is no intention of writing a code for this, I think the answer you mentioned would give me correct results I am looking for.Meanwhile if anyone can come up with a query that can go directly on QB Tool, please post, Thanks

Yes via backend Java service. This was more of a check we wanted to do, but not needed now. But out of curiosity I posted this question, that in case such situation happens how can we find how many are there..and so on..How can I do that? Unable to understand it. If possible can you write query line for that?

Ok will try and update..Putting the value as none and searching for it might work. But thats not exactly the required case.I remember trying null, '' , "" ..etc to see if that picks up the node in results. Again the value was still blank. But didn't workThanks for prompt replies

Sorry for delayed response. I tried above query but I still dont see my results.I went and added a property 'test' to a node at '/content/myproject/mysection/jcr:content'. First I gave it a value as 'testvalue' and when I did a simple query with property.value=testvalue, I was able to see the single result. I removed the value and saved it.Then I ran the suggested query aspath=/content/myproject type=cq:Pageproperty=@jcr:content/test property.operation=notI see no results for that (Also tried pr...

I am looking for writing an AEM query using the Query Builder Debugger. My goal is to look for nodes with property "sectionEmail" and value as blank () No Value. I tried something like this belowpath=/content/myprojecttype=cq:Pageproperty=sectionEmailproperty.value=As a result I just get all the nodes with the property "sectionEmail" regardless of whther it has a value or not.Any idea on corrections needed to make on this? Thanks

Thanks Ashok. Currently I am not using the SocialGraph and Relationship (Edge/Vertex) APIs but rather just catching at the beforeAction() and persisting the expected entry as shown in previous comment. I will looking into utilizing the SocialGraph API, since at the moment I do not have an idea how to use it. I request for a sample implementation if possible, meanwhile will spend more time into that. Thanks again 🙂
