Thanks. Yes, that is unfortunately since it cannot be automated. Any hint if it is something being considered or is there a security / design concern for that?

Found the issue, I was calling:assemble(JcrPackageDefinition definition, ProgressTrackerListener listener, java.io.OutputStream out)But that writes the file to the output stream requiring therefore an additional build step. The solution was to invoke:assemble(JcrPackage pack, ProgressTrackerListener listener)Thanks all for your time.

Thanks, that is what I said, I am invoking assemble, but the package needs to be build either manually or via curl. I get the same result that appears for example in this image found in this article: https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/using/dynamic_aem_packages.htmlPackage definition is OK, but still needs to be built. I want to know how to code that, not via curl, in order to have the package ready to download.

Exactly, I forgot to mention that I did check documentation but I didn't found a method there, still, there should be a such API functionality that builds packages.

Hello,I am able to assemble a package using the JcrPackageManager assemble method, however in the package manager I get the package definition and the filters, but the package itself needs to be built. I am sure there should be a way, since it is possible via the HTTP interface using curl.Thanks.

Thanks Robert. And hi all. Yes, the issue was in part related to the uber-jar, you have to update to the uber-jar that matches your installation. 6.1, 6.1 SP1 or 6.1 SP2. But also, in my case, there was the aem-api dependency, I had to remove it since it was redundant. Of course, use depfinder to update your pom.xml with the right version for oak-auth-external.

Hi, I am facing an issue and I suspect it is because of the URL shortening using /etc/map (AEM 6.1). Mapping is being applied only to publish instances. This is the issue: content is edited as usual in the author instance, but in publish reading the properties from the data entered into the components fails. That is, even a simple title component fails. If I disable the mapping, publish renders the page as expected, but not sure how the mapping is affecting. Network panel shows that all requests...

I was running AEM 6.1 with oak-auth-external 1.2.14, but after a hotfix (cq-6.1.0-hotfix-10832-1.0.zip) was installed with version 1.2.16 my bundle is unable to start. This dependency appears as unsolved:org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.spi.security.authentication.external,version=[1.0,2) -- Cannot be resolvedIn fact, the version is now 2.0, as it appears in the exported packages in the console:org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.spi.security.authentication.external,version=2.0.0I updated the pom.xml as follows, ...

Thanks all, yes, I saw that this is different than the clustering I was referring to in 5.6. But after reading a little the trick to avoid this automatically offloading setup is editing /system/console/configMgr/org.apache.sling.discovery.impl.Config and leave Topology Connector URLs empty, this way the author instance won't be in a discovery mode.Regards,

Hello, I was installing a separate instance at 4504, but automatically AEM now creates a cluster and even offloading agents. Is there a way to prevent this default behaviour completely?Back in 5.6 there was a file repository.xml that you could edit, but I now cannot find a way to disable this in /system/console/topologyThanks.

And just for the record, the issue is related to the implementation of the Tree.js findChild method. We are using Pathfield, which does have a treePanel object, when calling treePanel.selectPath this calls the findChild function. For an still unknown reason, IE returns a wrong result and the treePanel is not able to select the path, therefore nesting the folders. That is as far as I could get for now. Attaching screenshots.

Hello, previously, CQ 5.5 and 5.6 used YUI for JS/CSS compression, and you could find the YUI reference in cq-widgets bundle, but now, in AEM 6.2 I do not know where to find what is being used for compression, since there are some compression errors that I need to identify. Does anyone knows what is being used now? Thanks!
