  • Hi Sydney, We use it in IT for: Projects (standard project plan type stuff) Capacity Planning Agile Most application teams on Scrum Some teams on Kan Ban (works well for service oriented teams like Infrastructure and Network teams) IT Helpdesk We also have several queues and workflows (with the API)...

  • Thanks Dustin. Yeah I'm not worried about rushing the new search. I'd prefer to get the old search working, then you can take your time with the new search  .

  • Without knowing what object you're acting on and trying to obtain information from, I would try removing the 'project:' node. The syntax wouldn't work anyway. If that doesn't work, let us know what object you're working on and trying to get to. For example, is your View or Report looking at Projects...

  • Hi Byron, Without testing it out myself, here are the steps I would take to debug this: Remove the extra space at the begging and end between the parens and the brackets (unless that's just how it's displaying here) Add a 'DE:' before CPP-Events (I assume this is one of your custom fields and not a ...

  • Thank Dustin. That does help. There were several posts (including yours) that seemed to indicate we'd have to wait for the new one because the fix was too large. Based on your description here I can understand how people would think that. I'm relieved that WF is working on a solution and not just wa...

  • I hope I'm wrong but I fail to see the urgency. Feels like the general attitude from WF is – "here's your workaround, see you sometime in 2020". That doesn't seem acceptable. This is a big deal. While it's easy for us to say use the Advanced Search, there are two problems with this workaround: It fo...

  • Yeah sorry, I don't believe so. I looked around and didn't see an option. But maybe someone else here has something magical.

  • Hi Michelle, I don't believe so. But you can chain tasks if that's any help. Also if you use the inline edit for preds, you can type your pred, hit enter twice and it'll go to the next line. Makes it relatively quick.

OK which tasks are you trying to change? At a glance the first thing I would look at is the predecessors on the Parent tasks. Typically I would avoid doing that because your subtasks have predecessors and you want that to rule the day and many times it can cause that dependency loop or conflict. Tha...

Hi Kristen, There could be a couple of reasons. It's tough to tell without seeing it. But the first thing I look for is a problem with Parent tasks (both on dependencies and Task Constraints). If you create a View that displays the column of Task Constraint it can show you if there's a potential iss...
