This still doesn't work for me. Is it a known bug? Nothing happens when I change ascending/descend on for example the created or modified date columns. 

A user in our org is having the same issue, began in the last few days.I'm in the same org with the exact same permissions and I'm not experiencing the issue.I'll log a ticket with client care.

Agree, The dropdown function is a nice, easy way to set up modular dashboards for users who aren't as confident going into dimensions and selecting/dragging items. Would be great to be able to drag the entire dimension over as a dropdown.
