Re: Global Report Suite Marketing Channel Rules Configuration - Adobe Analytics 04-11-2021
We have set website A, B, and C domains as part of the internal URL filters for global report suite D. And with the override last-touch channel currently being unchecked on the internal marketing channel it would make sense that these visit would fall to referring domain as the marketing channel. What would be the best approach for the marketing channel setup and the internal URL filters for global report suite D going forward? Should we un-check the box to override last-touch channel for the ref...

Re: Global Report Suite Marketing Channel Rules Configuration - Adobe Analytics 03-11-2021
We are using multi-site tagging. Website A, B, and C are all sending secondary server calls to global report suite D.

Re: Global Report Suite Marketing Channel Rules Configuration - Adobe Analytics 02-11-2021
Website A - internal URL filters have multiple domains and subdomainsWebsite B - internal URL filter is just the site domainWebsite C - internal URL filters are the site domain and subdomainsAll three of these websites are connected to global report suite D. The Marketing channels are setup similarly for website A, B, C, and global report suite D. The processing order from top to bottom for these is Paid search, Email, Display, Social Media, SEO, Direct, Referring Domains, Internal, and Other So...

Global Report Suite Marketing Channel Rules Configuration - Adobe Analytics 01-11-2021
We have been using a global report suite for over a year now and our marketing department is looking to leverage the marketing channels within this report suite. When we first set this up the logic was to replicate the marketing channel processing rules for all report suites involved (Report suite A, B, and C all have the same functionality and roll into global report suite D). The issue we are seeing is a lot of referring domains in the global report suite connected to the metrics we are hoping...

Re: XHR versus a GIF server call - Adobe Analytics 27-10-2021
@yuhuisg I typically use the network console to check the server calls with the "b/ss" as the filter. With these XHR requests there is a general (which points to the right report suite), response headers, request headers, and request payload drop downs. With a normal GIF request I see the first three options and a query string parameters drop down which contains all the pertinent variabel and event information connected to the request.I can use various plugins and check in the console that the d...

XHR versus a GIF server call - Adobe Analytics 26-10-2021
We noticed some unspecified data coming into our report suite at an increased rate recently. Coicidentally we have been managing a lot of email and paid campaigns driving traffic to our site. I noticed when clicking on some of the links with utm parameters that the server call coming in was an XHR request instead of the usual GIF request. This seems odd, because it is not passing any of the variables or events connected to the page load on this. When looking through Adobe workspace, it appears t...
