Re: Accessing container path in classic UI dialog listener. - Adobe Experience Manager 25-05-2020
@prachiz Apologies 😐. I couldn't be of much help here. as I mentioned din reply its been quite a long time I am out of touch with xtypes and classic UI . Hope you get help soon. Also a recommendation, put a note to your architects or business leads to get the dialog converted to Touch UI. If you are using HTL with Sling models , then you might not have much work to do there , but else if your code is also in JSP, then you might have a bit more work, but trust me it is worth the effort ✌

@prachiz What version of AEM are you using ? agree with @aemmarc . Unless you are using any version which doesn't support Touch UI ( I don't think that should be the case as most of the older version prior to 6.3 should be out of support now )

Re: Bulk replication of Pages, Tags, Product Nodes - Adobe Experience Manager 25-05-2020
@bhanuprakashdod Agree with @Theo_Pendle , the only issue you might have here is the performance and he has suggested the best way to figure that out.Adding to that , in my experience the best way to do it is to write custom back-end process , may be a JOB which will run at a particular time window ( so that you don't disturb the business time) , if not you can write a servlet and hit the servlet to run the process . I would say a JOB will be the best approach in this case as it will ensure that...

Re: Disabling the field based on the selection of a drop... - Adobe Experience Manager 25-05-2020
@sai_santhosht50 The steps mentioned in the link by @Theo_Pendle mentioned by @Suraj_Kamdi will help you with one option at a time.That means, if you want to show dropdown in Tab 2 when you select val1 , it will work. But for showing dropdown in Tab 2 , when you select both val1 and val2 , you need to tweek the JS a little bit. I tried to do the same and adding the steps below. I would like you to use meaningful names , the values here are just for demo Follow the steps mentioned by @Theo_Pendle...

Re: Not able to install any package through Package Manager - Adobe Experience Manager 25-05-2020
@AEM_Dev_Newbie Are you sure you are installing an AEM package ? Not all zip files can be installed in AEM. If you read the documentation on packages , it is clearly mentioned what all constitutes and AEM package. A package also contains vault meta information, including the filter definitions and import configuration information. Additional content properties (that are not used for package extraction) can be included in the package, such as a description, a visual image, or an icon; these prope...

Re: Need to referenced pages when deactivating the page.... - Adobe Experience Manager 25-05-2020
Agree. The complexity is gonna be huge and performance will get hit if you have a huge repo of content. So be careful 🙂

Re: How to generate report for deleted content in AEM. - Adobe Experience Manager 21-05-2020
@arunaaems506124 I guess https://adobe-consulting-services.github.io/acs-aem-commons/features/audit-log-search/index.html this might help you in your requirement. It will give you a list of the deleted pages from audit log as below

Re: Best way to check size of the children/has children n... - Adobe Experience Manager 21-05-2020
There is no getChild() method in https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/spec/jsr170/javadocs/jcr-2.0/javax/jcr/Node.html , instead we have getNodes() which will return the child nodes of the current node. So you have to do something like Size is - ${currentNode.nodes.size}
