Can referrer value be overwrittten?

Hi!Since we are having a lot of problems with the referrer report dealing with blank values, we want to override the referrer value in our GTM: whenever there is no referrer, we write a String value. However it doesn't show up in referrer report. Is referrer report only accepting blank or URLs?

be careful with tracking ajax requests. we once set it up to track ajax and hell broke loose because each and every ajax request was tracked - something you definitely don't want.

Is the tracking string equal for all Adwords campaigns? Can I change the parameters, what are they good for?Whe should I use any of the different tracking strings, lpurl, unsescapedlpurl etc...?How can I enable the automatic tracking mode? The documentation on this topic is quite meager!Tracking: Manual Mode

Agree. Right now we use our own calculated metric bounce rate which looks at Visit Container: Hit Depth <= 3 divided through all Visits

Re: Analytics Workspace Fallout Report - Impact from PayPal Redirect?

Open the developer tools in your browser (usually F12), go to Network tab, check the logs to persist and filter for the string /b/ss/ Then you should see all the tracking calls sent to the Adobe server. Click on the individual calls to see its parameters. You can check if the proper variables and/or events are set. If not, then there is something wrong with the code.

Can't you test the journey? Easiest thing is to test the journey and see if everything is firing as expected.

In general "none", "unspecified", "other" should be named coherently. Sometimes it displays "unspecified", but if you want to filter it out you need to type in "none". Very confusing and incoherent.

It should be always clear which "total" is displayed: it is not the same behavior when filtering the data and when segmenting the data! Many users are confused and do not know what "total" means in the current context.

Open the developer tools in your browser (usually F12), look for the network tab which displays requests you are sending, look for the tracking request (usually it contains the pattern "/b/ss/" ) and then you can see what you send to Adobe. v's are eVars, c's are props. But it also depends on the implementation.

How do the tracking calls look like? You could post the variables of the first tracking call which is sent to the tracking server, then we can tell more.

Event attributed to eVar breakdown?

I have two eVars "internalId" and "cookieId". InternalId is tagging links, but cookieId is persisting through whole journey. Then I have an event "Conversion".The use case is this:Hit 1: User loads page A and gets internalId, user has cookieIdHit 2: User surfs around, user has cookieId, but does not trigger any internalIdHit 10: User triggers event Conversion, has cookieId.I can easily attribute the event Conversion to the internalId and to the cookieId. However I don't know how to combine all 3 ...

I believe that Adobe CS only can change it.Workaround would be to write these values to an eVar and by processing rule set Desktop instead of Other.

disable metrics for other report suites in Workspace?

Hi!currently Workspace users see all metrics and dimensions that re available globally, across all report suites. Thus they have plenty of calculated metrics and semgents which are duplicated on many report suites. Is there a way to reproduce the view as it is in the Analytics tool? Where the user can check/uncheck if he wants to see other report suite's metrics?

Can I replicate "Next Page URL" report in DWH?

Hi,we store the page's URL as a prop to look at pathing reports. However we encounter the (Low traffic) limitation sometimes in the normal reporting. To avoid this I'd like to use DWH: Is there a way to replicate the "Next prop" in DWH? I've seen there's pathing reports available, but not for the customized ones.
