The error you are encountering is occurring in DITA-OT due to either :

1. Issue with custom map DTD or 
2. Validation of Ditamap  

You can open  Ditamap in the web editor and check if there is any validation error.

If the issue persists download the map and attach it here or send it to us directly.

You can also check the DITA profile, any custom schema should be added to the catalog in DITA-OT. Custom DITA-OT should then be deployed to AEM and added to DITA profile - refer this documentation
