DTM Sunset Reminder
DTM Administrators,
In October of 2018, the Launch team announced a sunset plan for DTM and began encouraging users to start planning their migrations to Adobe Experience Platform Launch. The plan included a set of milestones as progressive restrictions in DTM functionality. These milestones are intended to encourage customers to develop migration plans, move them along the path, and be sure that they would not be caught unaware when the end-of-life came.
Last July (2019) we reached Milestone 1. At that time, we removed the ability add new properties in DTM.
Today, we want to remind you of the upcoming Milestone 2. Beginning on July 14, 2020, DTM properties will enter a read-only mode. This means:
- You will still be able to login to DTM, but your properties, rules, data elements, and tools will all be view only.
- You will be able to see all properties and everything in them, but you will not be able to make any changes to any of the above resources.
- You will not be able to publish any new libraries.
All libraries that have already been published will remain in place. Any sites referencing these published libraries will continue to retrieve and execute those libraries, but you will no longer have the ability to modify the library contents.
DTM properties will remain in this read-only state until January of 2021 when we reach the end-of-life. If you have questions about this upcoming Milestone 2, please head over to this discussion thread in our community forums.
