Issue with shapes not rotating when using repeater tool

Hi All,

In order to make things clear and hopefully easier to answer, below is a link to a video tutorial that shows how to use the repeater tool which I'm trying to follow:

Basically I'm trying to recreate the very same effect, but have issues with rotation. I can't get my circles to rotate as Evan does at 1:45.
