Why does Auditor have 100 and 500 page scanning options if it only returns results on 100 urls?

I've attempted to run a number of audits using the 500 url selection, and yet I only get back less than 100 pages scanned. Why have the 500 url selection if the tool will only spider and return the audit results for 100 urls? Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to get 500 urls scanned and the results back in each audit?
