Apply SPA modifications to every View

Avatar

Hi, ever since the VEC update I can't find how to apply modifications to every View on my SPA website. I only seem to have the option to apply modifications to specific ticked views that I browse in the editor. Can somebody help me find how to do this now?

Also, I used to be able to apply modifications to the initial library load, which is not the same as doing it based on Views. Where has this option gone?

Many thanks

Hello @nhmmike ,

You have two options to apply modifications to more views:

  1. Per modification - open the contextul menu of a selected modification (by clicking the three dots icon) and select Apply to more views
  2. Per multiple modifications - click Select button on top of the Modifications panel, select one or more modifications and click the Apply to more views icon (the + icon on top of the Modifications panel) to select the views on which to apply the modification(s)

Thanks cristinel. This allows me to apply a modification to views that appear in the list. But let's say I want to apply a modification to every page on the website, or in a particular section of the website, with 1000+ pages. (Eg if I wanted to A/B test something on a global header or footer, for example). How can I do this? This seems like a simple thing to want to do and I'm surprised I can't find a way to achieve this.

I know I can edit the View triggering logic so that all pages trigger the same View, and then attach a modification to that. But then that messes up any other activities I might want to do on a per-page basis.

Either I am missing something or this seems like a huge oversight from Adobe. I am hoping it is the former
