Adobe Target server side implementation for AEM website

Avatar

Level 1

Hello,

I am currently doing POC to explore server side implementation of target for a website developed using AEM. I am calling Target Delivery API in sling model of the AEM components and using returned offers  to create different variations. Is there any recommended place where should be calling Target Delivery APIs ? The target calls are only made when the page is served from AEM but if the page is served from CDN then it wont make any Target server calls and wont show different variations. Is there anyway that target calls are made irrespective of the page served from AEM or CDN using server side implementation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please let me know If anything is not clear.

Thanks,

Saikiran.

Admittedly, I do not know much about this space. Have you posted this in the AEM community? Sounds like a caching/edge-side includes issue to me and not specifically about Adobe Target.

I am also interested in this use case.
