Logic update to Cart Based criteria to loop through the products in your cart (up to 10) and display a single recommendation for each, then loop through again and display another recommended item.
Why is this feature important to you -
This would allow representation for multiple carted items in the recommendation slots. By alternating the recommendations will allow the customer to see recommendations for multiple carted products before advancing through the slots.
How would you like the feature to work -
Update logic to loop through the products in your cart (up to 10) and display a single recommendation for each, then loop through again and display recommended item. The process would keep repeating until all slots are filled.
Current Behaviour -
“Cart Based” criteria currently returns recommendations for up to 10 items in your cart. It returns all recommendations for 1 item before moving to the next item. This usually results in recommendations displaying for only 1 item. This will depend on the number of slots you have available in your recommendations mBox. For a retail department store, customers normally have carts containing several products. We are seeing where there is not representation in the recommended products for more one or two carted items as a result.
