Good day Community!

We are currently targeting your new module interface. But there are several updates or visualizations that have been changed.

One of them is the “Render Using JavaScript”, I was looking for documentation on this new model but I think Adobe has not yet made an update to the documentation, does anyone know if there is an article that can explain this new functionality, I just think it may be the replacement or optimization of the VEC but I prefer to confirm the same.

Hi @Alejandrox2

Adobe recently introduced the “Render Using JavaScript” option in the new module interface. Right now, there isn’t updated public documentation specific to this functionality. Based on current guidance, it looks like this is an enhancement to how Target renders experiences in the Visual Experience Composer (VEC), likely intended to improve reliability/compatibility on sites with heavy client-side rendering.

It doesn’t replace the VEC, but rather gives more flexibility in how content is injected.

Hello,

The render using javascript toggle is a page delivery setting which prevents scripts from executing, in case you need to "freeze" the page into a certain state. This feature existed on the previous VEC, but it was placed under Page Delivery settings.
