[Announcement] Our very first Adobe Target Community Rockstar!

Over the past few months, we’ve asked you - the Adobe Target community - to share your best optimization tips, hacks, and insights. And wow, you delivered! We received some fantastic submissions from practitioners around the world, sharing creative ways to get the most out of Target.
 
After reviewing all contributions, we’re thrilled to announce our first-ever Adobe Target Community Rockstar:

John's submission stood out for its creativity, clarity, and real-world value - showing how Target can go beyond traditional personalization.
 
By connecting Adobe Target with Adobe Analytics via API, their approach to have activities dynamically displays insights such as “15 people also bought this product” directly within Target offers.
A brilliant example of cross-solution thinking that showcases the true power of the broader Adobe Experience Cloud!
 
As part of the recognition, John will also receive a small package of exclusive Adobe swag - because every Rockstar deserves a little merch!

John's winning tip focused on how to use Adobe Analytics data in Adobe Target offer, showing a creative yet practical way to get more value from Target.

    Forget ECID, use mbox3rdPartyId instead!
    This is the biggest key to real time personalization/experimentation, on the first page load. By applying your own business UUID into the mbox3rdPartyId you're essentially telling Adobe this is your identifier, that you Adobe, need to sync with. It shouldn't be the other way around where you need to wait on ECID to even begin your marketing or personalization efforts.

    Syncing your Adobe Target image library with your CMS provider
    The point of this tip is to eliminate doing double work, ie uploading the same image to multiple services. Its an advanced use because it uses APIs and involved connecting non Adobe tools with Adobe.

It’s been amazing to see so many fantastic tips come through from the community. Eddie Aguilar @EddieAg1  Barry Lennon @BarryTL  and John Simmons—you all continue to inspire and elevate the way we think about Adobe Target, and I’m thrilled to be part of this vibrant and innovative group! 

 

A big shout-out to my Captain @kandersen  for incredible leadership on this initiative—it’s been a pleasure collaborating with you! And, of course, a huge thank you to @Jagpreet_Singh_ for all the support. We’ve been able to accomplish so much because of your guidance and teamwork.

Let’s keep the momentum going and continue sharing knowledge, experimenting, and pushing the limits of Adobe Target together. This community is truly something special!
