I have just upgraded from LS Designer ver 8.0 to ver 8.1 (ES). The main reason was to use the Form Guide Builder, which seemed to be an excellent tool.
However after much mucking around and web searching, I find out that in order to deploy a form guide you need to have LC Enterprise Suite (or at least LC Forms ES). This is not clear on the Adobe web site blurb on LC Designer ES.
Why include a feature on the standalone version that cannot be used within that version?
Can anyone set out the minimum requirements for deploying form guides and the scale of costs?
I am still waiting for a price from Adobe for LC Form ES; however I suspect that it will be beyond our reach!!
I have a client for whom the form guides would be perfect; however I need to start the development of the forms and I would like to know before I start if I can use form guides.
