Does anyone ever tryed to import a content holding on clipboard to a PDF file ?
The ideia is to let a user make a snapshot of a certain document area and then paste it into a PDF template.
I managed to do this by saving the selected area as a JPEG image on disk. Then opened a previously developed PDF template that has a ImageField and, clicking on the field, opened a windows file chooser to select the image.
I wanted to do this automatically like :
- do the snapshot,
- open the PDF template,
- do something like Edit > Paste
Is it possible to use some kind of Javascript on the template initialization event that is able to select the content from the clipboard and print it on the imagefield ??
Hope someone can give me a hand on this,
