Fields don't act like they should when bringing old Designer forms into version 8, whether by opening the PDF file and continuing to edit it or copying and pasting the fields through the clipboard into a new form.
A tech support rep. already helped me pinpoint a problem where radio buttons will appear to have "Specify Item Value" unchecked when in fact it is checked and is expecting numerical values rather than the caption as a rawValue.
Now I have noticed another problem: some user-entered fields appear normal in Design view but when testing them in Preview mode, they are treated as if they are Read Only or just Text Boxes. The user can't enter anything.
