Prepopulate from a dropdown list

I am new to LiveCycle

I am working a Time and Attendance Form and I have dropdown with approxmately 25 date ranges (pay periods) to choose from e.g.

22: 10/26/2008 - 11/8/2008

23: 11/9/2008 - 11/22/2008

etc.

I would like for days of the week to automatically populate once the date ranges are selected.

10/26 10/27 etc.

How can I do this?

Thanks in advance

You will have to write some script to do this. Javascript has a datobject that you can create by passing the date to it and then you can use the getDay() function to return the day of the week that it represents. There are a number of good examples on the web ....just google javascript & getDay

Thanks for you prompt response Paul but, I don't have alot of experience with scripting can you provide me an example of how I would be able to get this to work. I need to know where to actually start the code at in xml file.

Thanks
