I am new to LC Designer. I Need help with Master-detail form data population ( which is so simple in other dev environment)
I developed a form in the Live Cycle designer that has a subform for storing the header fields( MASTER SIDE) and the details in another subform inside HEADER SUB FORM titled DETAIL SUB FORM ( DETILAS). I also want to state the DETAILS SUBFORM is repeatable for every row of data items. So I inserted a table inside ( whose columns are the detail fields )the DETAILS SUBFORM and made the container called DETAIL SUBFORM -flowed.
I also planned to handle selection of detailed records for the first header( MASTER) items in the Initialize event of the form and the remaining loading of data on click of the the NExt Button
I always felt that it should not be this complicated. am I thinkiing right? is theere any other simpler way?
