LifeCycle 8 ODBC error on local machine

In windows XP, I setup a ODBC connection on my local machine. Tested it and it works fine.



In LifeCycle Designer 8, I added this connection, put fields from the stored procedure on the form and saved the PDF.



When I open the PDF, it tells me "Connection for ODBCname failed because the environment is not trusted."



Please help with this issue.

I had the same problem and the way to fix it was to set up a DSN.



Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Data Sources > System DSN
