Installing Production Reader Extensions

I have purchasd a full copy of Reader Extensions for Linux.

I have made sure the environment is the same as my evaluation copy and also made sure that JAVA_HOME and PATH are set. I am using j2sdk 1.4.2_10 which is what I used for the evaluation install.

However, I cannot get the installer to run at all.

java -jar LiveCycleReaderExtensions.jar gives me:-

"The installer is unabelt to run in graphical mode"

java -jar LiveCycleReaderExtensions.jar -silent throws all sorts of exceptions

and

java -jar LiveCycleReaderExtensions.jar -console is not supported

I must be missing a key install step here somewhere as it is the same machine but a different instance of Red Hat running.

Any ideas?

I sorted it out.

For some reason, installing the KDE/Gnome and XVM development libraries allowed this to work. Who knows what the dependency was, it was not listed in the install documentation.
