I'm having problems importing an acrobat pdf document into designer.

1. all my text turn into symbols and incoherent text.

2. missing random lines on vector graphics.

3. weird error messages regarding image size in document.

a. it keeps telling me that an image had to be re sized because it is

larger than 2mb. But the total document is less than 1mb.

4. the form properties do not transfer from acrobat to designer.

5. I just want to add the "email this form" function to my form that I've completed in acrobat before I found out about designer. is there a way for me to include the "email" function in acrobat itself?

Yes! You do not need Designer for this. In Acrobat, set up a Submit Form action (or submitForm() JavaScript) an specify a "mailto" type URI. Note that this probably will fail for users with pre-7 versions of Reader, and really can't be considered a reliable approach.
